What waterways and communities are most affected by CSOs?
The high volume combined sewer overflows occur mostly in St. Louis City along the Mississippi River, Maline Creek and River Des Peres. In St. Louis County, smaller combined sewers impact the Mississippi River in South County; the River Des Peres in University City, Wellston and Pagedale; and the River Des Peres’ tributaries in Shrewsbury, Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Rock Hill and Ladue. | Receiving Stream Locations- as of 6/07 | CSO Locations - as of 3/08
